You would be hard pressed to find a more experienced and comprehensive veterinary team than ours at Fairfax Veterinary Clinic. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality veterinary care available, and at the same time, we recognize the importance of providing superior service to our patients’ people, our clients. We are a full service veterinary clinic and animal hospital with expertise in both routine medical needs such as wellness exams, new puppy and new kitten exams, skin or dental problems, as well as expertise in dealing with non-routine medical needs such as trauma, complex medical or oncological problems, and urgent or emergency cases that may require immediate treatment or even surgery or hospitalization.
Our modern and friendly office is well equipped to handle most medical and surgical needs, and we have robust relationships and partnerships with specialists, enabling us in many cases to provide more advanced care requiring board certified specialists right here in our hospital in Fairfax. Our patients love access to such specialized care so close to home, without having to travel outside of Marin County. We see people and pets from throughout Marin and occasionally beyond, including Fairfax, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Ross, Kentfield, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, the Tiburon peninsula, and West Marin and the San Geronimo Valley.

Our highly trained staff is here to assist you and your pet with basic pet needs such as comprehensive examinations, medical diagnostics and treatments, surgery, dietary and nutrition consultation, parasite prevention, pet microchipping, bathing and grooming services, pet boarding, and routine vaccinations. We also are equipped and trained to handle many more complicated procedures ranging from pet dentistry to emergency diagnostics and surgical procedures. Our technical staff is well trained in assisting our veterinarians, and function just like their human nursing counterparts.
Dr. Aaron Wentzell received his doctor of veterinary medicine credentials at NCSU’s College of Veterinary medicine in Raleigh, NC. The Doctors, Techs and Front Desk staff are always friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and treat my dogs with the utmost care. Their compassion and love of animals always shows forth and I would never take my dogs anyplace else for routine care. I even have the staff cut my dogs nails. I highly recommend Fairfax Veterinary Clinic.
